The AI Agents & Application Development Workshop is a hands-on technology program designed for students in Grades 7–12. Students learn to design AI-assisted solutions, explore foundational programming concepts, and build a functional application from idea to deployment. The program is beginner-friendly, and no prior coding experience is required. Students begin by building and deploying a bounded AI agent to understand how AI can perform specific tasks. They then spend the majority of the program designing and coding their own application, using AI as a development partner throughout the process. In the final module, students deploy their application, perform essential production checks, and learn how to add it to their phone’s home screen for convenient access.

A hands-on technology course for high-school students who are new to coding. Students learn to design AI-assisted solutions, understand foundational programming concepts, and build a functional application from idea to deployment.
Students begin by building an AI agent, then spend the largest part of the course planning and coding an application with AI as a development partner. The final module focuses on deployment, production checks and phone home-screen access.
The course emphasizes understanding, iteration and debugging rather than memorizing syntax. Projects are deliberately small; public or school-controlled deployment depends on approved tools, access and arrangements.

Plan a small application, learn programming foundations and build frontend, backend and database features. Use AI to explain, modify and debug code.
Deploy the application

Prepare a safe deployment, test the live application and make it accessible from a phone home screen.
Final showcase

Demonstrate the application, explain design and technical decisions, and reflect on testing, debugging and next improvements.

- Schedule: Starting October 27, 2026 — Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30–6:00 PM. Choose Tuesday or Thursday as your regular class day. Both sessions cover the same content each week, and students may attend the other day for extra practice.
